Jeffrey C. Wynn, a humorous, curious, inventive, adventurous geophysicist with the U.S. Geological Survey has studied the Wabar Craters of Saudi Arabia with Gene Shoemaker, mapped the seafloor, analyzed mineral resources on land, studied aquifers and archaeological sites---and observed with the Shoemaker-Levy team.
