90450 Cyriltyson           Discovered 2004 Jan. 28 by the Catalina Sky Survey.
Cyril deGrasse Tyson (b. 1927) worked to empower those disenfranchised by the forces of politics and economics. His work in New York City government during the American Civil Rights movement and as an administrator at the City College of New York led to greater opportunities for youth in the inner city.
