9005 Sidorova           Discovered 1982 Oct. 20 by L. G. Karachkina at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Named in honor of Sophia Ivanovna Sidorova (b. 1943), tireless worker on behalf of public education in Ukraine and leader of the Crimean Republic Committee for the education of workers. She is an educator of great ability, a brilliant organizer and a thoughtful wife and mother.
