8781 Yurka           Discovered 1976 Apr. 1 by N. S. Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Yuri Sergeevich Efimov (b. 1935) is an astrophysicist who has worked at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory since 1958. He is a prominent expert in stellar photometry and polarimetry and is well known for his research on peculiar stars and extragalactic objects.
