85878 Guzik           Discovered 1999 Feb. 13 by W. R. Cooney Jr. and E. Kandler at Baton Rouge.
T. Gregory Guzik (b. 1952), a Professor at Louisiana State University, researched cosmic rays while promoting student and public involvement with science for more than 30 years. A founding member of the Highland Road Observatory in Baton Rouge, he developed ballooning programs for training new scientists and engineers.
