8445 Novotroitskoe           Discovered 1973 Aug. 31 by T. M. Smirnova at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
This minor planet is being named on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the friendship agreement between Novotroitskoe, the district center of the Chersonian region in Ukraine, and the town of Genichesk, Ukraine, birthplace of the discoverer.
