7820 Ianlyon           Discovered 1990 Oct. 14 by A. Mrkos at Klet.
As a researcher at the University of Manchester (UK) Ian Lyon (b. 1957) studies the isotopic composition of meteorites to investigate the early Solar System and the origin of interstellar grains. Ian has been an associate editor of Meteoritics and Planetary Science.
