7714 Briccialdi           Discovered 1996 Feb. 9 at Stroncone.
Named in memory of Giulio Briccialdi (1818-1881). Flutist and composer, he became a famous concert musician at the age of 15. He taught in Milan and Vienna and gave concerts in Europe and America. He invented a particular kind of flute and created the musical scales for it.
