7683 Wuwenjun           Discovered 1997 Feb. 19 by the Beijing Schmidt CCD Asteroid Program at Xinglong.
Wenjun Wu (b. 1919), a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, is the originator in the research on mathematics mechanization in China. He made outstanding achievements in characteristic classes and imbedding classes and invented Wu's Method to prove geometry theorems by computers.
