7322 Lavrentina           Discovered 1979 Sept. 22 by N. S. Chernykh at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Soviet mathematician Mikhail Alekseevich Lavrent'ev (1900-1980) was the first head of the Siberian Department of the U.S.S.R. Academy of Sciences. His son Mikhail Mikhailovich Lavrent'ev (b. 1932) also works in mathematical physics.
