6088 Hoshigakubo           Discovered 1988 Oct. 18 by T. Seki at Geisei.
The name refers to a section of low ground at Choja, a mountainous place in the western part of Kochi prefecture. Legend has it that a meteorite fell there in olden times. Now there is a pond 20 meters across.
