5987 Liviogratton           Discovered 1975 June 6 by the Félix Aguilar Observatory team at the El Leoncito Station.
Born in Italy, Livio Gratton (1910-1991) spent many years in Argentina, where he was at various times in charge of the astrophysics department of La Plata Observatory, director of Córdoba Observatory and the first director of the Institute of Mathematics, Astronomy and Physics of the Córdoba National University.
