59419 Prešov           Discovered 1999 Apr. 9 by L. Kornoš and Š. Gajdoš at the Astronomical and Geophysical Observatory in Modra.
Dating from 1247 and the birthplace of the second discoverer, Prešov is the historical and cultural center of the Šariš region of northeastern Slovakia. A public observatory and young astronomers club were established there in 1968.
