59087 Maccacaro           Discovered 1998 Nov. 15 by P. Sicoli and F. Manca at Sormano.
Tommaso Maccacaro (b. 1951) has worked in high-energy astrophysics and x-ray astronomy since 1976. He is currently director of the INAF-Osservatorio di Brera in Milan and chairman of the European Space Agency Astronomy Working Group (2007-2009).
