58573 Serpieri           Discovered 1997 Sept. 9 by V. Goretti at Pianoro.
Arrigo Serpieri (1877-1960) was a famous Italian agricultural economist. He lectured at the University of Florence, where he was chancellor. He was also president of the National Institute for Agricultural Economics from 1924 to 1954 and author of many significant works.
