58096 Oineus           Discovered 1973 Sept. 29 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Oineus was the grandfather of the Greek hero Diomedes. Diomedes met the Lykier Glaukos, and they found out that their grandfathers Bellerophon and Oineus were friends. They therefore avoided fighting each other.
