5774 Ratliff | Discovered 1989 July 2 by E. F. Helin at Palomar. |
Until his tragic and untimely death, Nicholas Paul Ratliff (1982-2002), of Oklahoma City, was always available to carry out jobs for family and friends, usually at his own expense, and even if he had other plans. A keen baseballer, he also had an interest in astronomy, ever since he was given a telescope at the age of five. |
