4922 Leshin           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Laurie Leshin (b. 1965), assistant professor at Arizona State University, has used isotopic analyses to investigate geologic processes recorded in martian meteorites. Her work on oxygen and hydrogen isotopes has been fundamental to understanding the interaction between the hydrosphere and crust of Mars.
