48482 Oruki           Discovered 1992 Feb. 5 by T. Seki at Geisei.
"Oruki" is a much loved word in the Tosa (Kochi prefecture) dialect meaning "the importance of one's presence and reassurance of unflagging support". The name was suggested by N. Okumura.
