46977 Krakow           Discovered 1998 Sept. 18 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Krakow is one of the oldest cities in Poland. Situated on the Vistula river, the historical center of Krakow, which includes the Old Town and the district of Kazamierz, has been placed by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage Sites.
