4595 Prinz           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Martin (Marty) Prinz (b. 1931) is a long-time curator of the meteorite collection at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Prinz has worked on a wide range of meteorite types and associated geologic processes and is perhaps best known for his work on silicate inclusions in iron meteorites.
