4241 Pappalardo           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
A. Neil Pappalardo is a pioneer in medical information technology. Together with his wife Jane, he has been an energetic supporter of the Magellan Telescope Project in Chile and of promoting excellence in engineering, physics and astronomy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
