40410 Příhoda           Discovered 1999 Sept. 4 by L. Šarounová at Ondřejov.
Pavel Příhoda (b. 1934) has devoted his life to the popularization of astronomy. At the Prague Planetarium since 1963 he has written books, prepared sky and planet maps and since 1986 has been editor-in-chief of the The Czech Astronomical Yearbook. His interests also include gnomonics.
