37582 Faraday           Discovered 1990 Oct. 12 by F. Börngen and L. D. Schmadel at Tautenburg.
The English naturalist Michael Faraday (1791-1867) discovered the liquefaction of chlorine and the benzene, electromagnetic induction, diamagnetism, the rotation of light's polarization plane by a magnetic field and the screening Faraday-cage. He also stated the basic laws of electrolysis.
