31122 Brooktaylor           Discovered 1997 Sept. 21 by P. G. Comba at Prescott.
Brook Taylor (1685-1731) was an English mathematician whose name is associated with a basic theorem in the differential calculus, whereby the value of a function at an arbitrary point is expressed as a power series involving the values of the function and its derivatives at another point.
