31028 Cerulli | Discovered 1996 Apr. 18 at the Osservatorio San Vittore. |
Italian astronomer Vincenzo Cerulli (1859-1927) founded the private Collurania Observatory near Teramo, where he discovered the bright minor planet (704) Interamnia in 1910 and observed Mars and several comets. He arranged for the observatory to be donated to his country on his death. |
