30882 Tomhenning           Discovered 1992 Sept. 21 by L. D. Schmadel and F. Börngen at Tautenburg.
Thomas Henning (b. 1956), managing director of the Heidelberg Max-Planck-Institute for Astronomy, is a leading expert in the fields of the formation of stars and planets, as well as in laboratory astrophysics. The name was suggested by the first discoverer.
