30881 Robertstevenson           Discovered 1992 Sept. 2 by E. W. Elst at the European Southern Observatory.
Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) was a Scottish novelist, poet, essayist and travel writer. His 1879 publication Travels with a Donkey in the Cévennes, recounted his 200 km trip on foot through the Cévennes mountains. The road he followed has been named Chemin de Stevenson in his honor.
