František Krejčí (1901-1984), an honorary member of the Czechoslovak Astronomical Society, in 1963 founded the public observatory in Karlovy Vary and led it for 20 years, including its rebuilding after a disastrous fire in 1971. He operated an all-sky patrol camera for the European fireball network. |
