27410 Grimmett           Discovered 2000 Mar. 12 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Maria Elena Grimmett (b. 1998) is a finalist in the 2011 Broadcom MASTERS, a math and science competition for middle-school students, for her environmental sciences project. She attends the Weiss School, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
