27056 Ginoloria           Discovered 1998 Sept. 26 by P. G. Comba at Prescott.
Gino Loria (1862-1954) was a professor of higher geometry at the University of Genoa. He wrote two treatises on plane and space curves, but his main interest was the history of mathematics from antiquity to his own time. He wrote biographies of Archimedes, Newton, Cremona and Beltrami.
