24926 Jinpan           Discovered 1997 Apr. 2 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Jin Pan (b. 1994) is a finalist in the 2012 Intel Science Talent Search, a science competition for high-school seniors, for his bioinformatics and genomics project. He attends the Henry M. Gunn High School, Palo Alto, California.
