24829 Berounurbi           Discovered 1995 Sept. 22 by L. Sarounova at Ondrejov.
The royal Czech town of Beroun was founded in the year 1265, at a strategic position southwest of Prague near the Berounka river. Now an important industrial, transportation and tourist center, the town has a rich history as evidenced by a well-preserved downtown urban zone.
