24626 Astrowizard           Discovered 1980 Oct. 9 by C. S. Shoemaker and E. M. Shoemaker at Palomar.
David V. Rodrigues (b. 1952) has dedicated his life to explaining the riches of the universe to anyone, anywhere. Wearing the costume of a wizard to get children's attention, he makes astronomy come alive in his presentations at the Morrison Planetarium in San Francisco and in school classes.
