24480 Glavin           Discovered 2000 Nov. 19 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
Daniel P. Glavin (b. 1974) is an astrobiologist at the Goddard Space Flight Center, with a research emphasis in organic chemistry. He specializes in the study of extraterrestrial amino acids found in meteorites and in spacecraft-returned samples from asteroids and comets.
