24148 Mychajliw           Discovered 1999 Nov. 14 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team in Socorro.
Alexis Marie Mychajliw (b. 1991) is a finalist in the 2008 Intel Scien ce Talent Search (STS), a science competition for high school seniors, for her zoology project. She attends the Paul D. Schreiber High School, Port Washington, New York.
