24068 Simonsen           Discovered 1999 Oct. 8 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Larry Simonsen, Jr. mentored a finalist in the 2007 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition. He teaches at the Hollenbeck Middle School, Math, Science, & Technology Magnet, Los Angeles, California.
