23949 Dazapata           Discovered 1998 Oct. 28 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Danielle Zapata (b. 1993) is a finalist in the 2007 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition, for her environmental sciences project. She attends the St. Gregory the Great Catholic School, San Antonio, Texas.
