22830 Tinker           Discovered 1999 Sept. 7 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Joel Jack Tinker (b. 1994) is a finalist in the 2006 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition, for his engineering project. He attends the Covenant Christian Academy, Huntsville, Alabama.
