22786 Willipete           Discovered 1999 May 12 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
William Garrett Pete (b. 1995) is a finalist in the 2006 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge (DCYSC), a middle school science competition, for his physical science project. He attends the Christina Huddleston Elementary School, Lakeville, Minnesota.
