22617 Vidphananu           Discovered 1998 May 23 by the Lowell Observatory Near-Earth Object Search at the Anderson Mesa Station.
The name Vidphananu is a Ukrainian abbreviation for the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, which was created in Kiev in 1918. The name was suggested by K. I. Churyumov.
