22277 Hirado           Discovered 1982 Nov. 14 by H. Kosai and K. Hurukawa at Kiso.
Hirado is a town in Nagaskai Prefecture, Japan. The Portugese arrived in 1550, and during the early Edo period (beginning in 1603) Hirado became a center of trade with Portugal, the Netherlands and England.
