215089 Hermanfrid           Discovered 1960 Sept. 24 by C. J. van Houten and I. van Houten-Groeneveld on Palomar Schmidt plates taken by T. Gehrels.
Hermanfrid Schubart (b. 1930) is a German expert in prehistoric archaeology. He has excavated prehistoric ruins at sites on the Iberian Peninsula, including Toscanos and Zambujal. The name was suggested by his brother, J. Schubart.
