Garik Israelian (b. 1963) is an astrophysicist at the Institute of Astrophysics, Tenerife, known for his studies of stellar abundances and observational evidence of the supernova origin of black holes. He is an accomplished musician and the founder of the STARMUS Festival, which celebrates astronomy, space exploration and music.
