14349 Nikitamikhalkov           Discovered 1985 Oct. 22 by L. V. Zhuravleva at the Crimean Astrophysical Observatory.
Russian film director Nikita Sergeevich Mikhalkov (b. 1945) has also acted in more than 40 films. He received awards from Cannes and Venice, and won an Oscar for the Best Foreign Film, Burnt by the Sun (1994). Since Dec. 1997 he has been chairman of the Cinematographers' Union of Russia.
