8023 Josephwalker           Discovered 1991 Feb. 17 by T. Urata at Oohira.
NASA research pilot Joseph Walker (1921-1966) was the second pilot to fly the X-15 and made a total of 25 flights. Three of these flights entered space and he received NASA astronaut wings posthumously in 2005.
