7692 Edhenderson           Discovered 1981 Mar. 2 by S. J. Bus at Siding Spring in the course of the U.K. Schmidt-Caltech Asteroid Survey.
Edward P. Henderson (1898-1992) was the curator of meteorites at the Smithsonian Institution. During his tenure, he focused on studies of iron meteorites, growth of the meteorite collection, and providing material to the scientific community.
