19970 Johannpeter           Discovered 1988 Sept. 8 by F. Borngen at Tautenburg.
Johann Peter Hebel (1760-1826), Heidelberg theologian and author of Alemannischen Gedichte (1803), collected his best-known stories in Schatzkästlein des rheinischen Hausfreundes ((1811). His linguistic skills, humor, simplicity and emotionality established his popularity.
