19917 Dazaifu           Discovered 1977 Mar. 12 by H. Kosai and K. Hurukawa at Kiso.
In the second half of the 7th century, the Dazaifu government office was in charge of the Kyushu area and the two islands of Iki and Tsushima, and it was a base of defense and diplomatic relations at that time. The corner stones of the remains of the capital towers 'tofuro' remain in Dazaifu city.
