19589 Kirkland           Discovered 1999 July 14 by the Lincoln Laboratory Near-Earth Asteroid Research Team at Socorro.
Tyler Hollis Kirkland (b. 1989) is a finalist in the 2003 Discovery Channel Young Scientist Challenge, a middle school science competition, for his environmental sciences project. He attends the Emily Gray Junior High School, Tucson, Arizona.
